Hi, I'm Carina — the founder of Moonquiet.

I've always lived close to small, unexplainable things.

The dish I quietly don't want to eat — the server returns to say it's been overcooked, would I like something else. The wine glass I dislike but don't mention — it slips and shatters in the server's hand as he's moving me to another table. (That actually happened.)

I stopped trying to explain these moments a long time ago. I just started paying attention.

That's probably why I was drawn, very early on, to the quiet traditions that take these things seriously — Chinese astrology, tarot, the old ways of reading energy and time. And it's probably why, the first time I held a crystal, something in me recognized it.

What struck me wasn't just the energy people talked about — it was how no two stones were ever alike. Every line, every vein, every cloud inside the stone felt like a fingerprint, a record of thousands of years of quiet becoming. It felt honest in a way few things are.

But as I started buying crystals online, I quickly realized how much of what's sold as "healing crystals" isn't real stone at all. Dyed agate under prettier names. Glass beads passed off as quartz. What touches my skin every day should be real — and I didn't want to wear something pretending to be something else.

That's why Moonquiet exists.

I started this studio to do one thing properly: to create crystal jewelry that is genuinely real, intentionally made, and worth carrying with you every day. Every piece is handcrafted, energetically cleansed under the full moon, and shaped by the natural beauty of stones that have grown for thousands of years before reaching your wrist.

When I'm making a piece — choosing the stones, knotting the cord, wrapping it in its box — I quietly hold a wish for the person who will wear it. That whatever they're carrying, life will meet them kindly. That good things will find their way to them.

Every stone carries its own kind of energy — and so do we. I believe what's real is the resonance between the two. When the stone you wear is in tune with what you carry, something quiet begins to move.

Moonquiet is independent, and made by hand. I read every message myself. I choose every stone myself. And I make each piece with the hope that it becomes something quiet in your day — a soft reminder that you're held, even when no one's looking.
